ViewWise Email Archive Service For Exchange
The ViewWise® Email Archive Service for Exchange® is part of a corporate solution that provides
a secure repository for storing, retrieving, and viewing all Microsoft Exchange emails and attachments.The
Exchange journaling feature ensures that all incoming, outgoing, and internal emails are archived.The Email
Archive Service processes the content into ViewWise, and ViewWise makes it possible to quickly and easily retrieve
the messages and their attachments based on any search criteria.

local, and National Government laws and regulations dictate evolving retention periods for all types of Data.The burden
of ownership is on the organization to retain all types of documents for a specified period, normally 2 to 7 years but
in some cases it can be up to 100 years or indefinitely.
The Microsoft Outlook client is unaffected by the corporate archive policy. Email users are unaware of the archive
process, and are not required to take any personal action.

Exchange journaling is compressed and stored
securely in ViewWise, using a dynamically created
filing structure from email property values.These are easily defined with administrator templates.ViewWise ensures
that access to the archived content is controlled and tracked. Messages can be located via multiple search options,
including full text search of email content and their attachments – regardless of file format.

The Email Archive Service for Exchange is a scalable solution capable of processing multiple Microsoft
Exchange journal locations containing corporate volumes of email correspondence. It can be deployed as
part of an Integrated Document Management Solution, or as a ViewWise bundled solution to provide
baseline e-mail archive compliance.
